Be selfish. Here's why I recommend it!
As kids and young adults, most of us were taught that being selfish is a bad thing. How many of you have felt this way? Well, I disagree and here's why.
Here is the problem with not being selfish.
Most struggle with burnout, high anxiety, depression, and poor decision-making patterns. If you don't take care you physical and mental health, it will catch up to you, and this is most likely the area it shows up.
Being selfish feels wrong at times. You might feel a little conceited or self-centered. Some people feel unworthy, or like they have no time to be selfish.
Be unapologetically selfish.
Take care of you. No one else can do this for you. You might get judged, but, who cares. You have a whole life to experience and don't you want to be in excellent physical and mental health to do so? Being selfish is detrimental to your well being.
Why? You need to take care of yourself, feed your body and soul. Create habits that bring balance to your life. Being selfish will help you be able to manage and take control of your life.

- 2. Say exactly what you mean.
- 3. Don't be a people pleases
- 4. Trust your instincts
- 5. Never speak badly of yourself
- 6. Never give up on your dreams
- 7. Don't be afraid to say no
- 8. Don't be afraid to say yes
- 9. Be kind to yourself
- 10. Let go of what you cant control
- 11. Stay away from drama and negativity
- 12. LOVE
Keep this list close by and be selfish as often as you can. You and your loved ones deserve a complete balanced life.
